I didn't like the Bregman pick either because he always went cold at the wrong time when he was at LSU. I wanted Rogers the high school SS.

I wasnt very happy with the Bregs pick. And would have bet a pinky finger last offseason that he would be traded during the winter meetings. Oops....

Just went back and read last year's draft thread. I called the Bregman pick Meh and said there just wasn't much that stood out about him.
Didn't bash it. Just wasn't overly impressed. I saw Bregman as a guy who stuck around the majors but kind of a solid role player. Not a super star. I figured he'd be trade bait. Never expected his breakout season so far.

Correa has caught the strikeouts again. Racking up a lot of 2 strikeout games. Looks like he's fallen back into the habit of not being aggressive on fastballs early in the count. Took 2 fastballs and was immediately down 0-2. Chased a ball to strikeout.
