Better hope that isn't a Hamate situation. Season over and maybe career.

That's why some people just don't dig on swine.

Look on the bright side. If they have to amputate, maybe Correa can still pitch, like a modern day Jim Abbott.

Franklin Perez has made his AA debut in the 7th.

I didn't see any impact indicating a fracture. Do we let bregman take short in the meantime?

Just so everyone knows a typical timeline

Holy shite bricks
Stop with the doomsday scenarios.

Astros are saying Correa has the flu, like Keuchel did.
He'll be out 6 weeks.

It's what he does. Ignore

Real talk I'm concerned about McCullers. He was beasting, goes on the DL and has struggled since returning. Health is always a concern with Lance. Wouldn't surprise me to see him end up on the DL again.

I think he'll be fine. Has a little bit of an irregular schedule recently, and aside from the walks (which isn't unusual for him) he had some BABIP bad luck.
Pitchers are fickle and can go through some weird stretches. In the middle of the abysmal performance tonight he had some pretty good stuff in fleeting moments

I know what I need to do. About to watch GF II

Yeah, his stuff is fine. Mechanics are fragile, and something slightly off leads to bad results.
Lance needs to pitch every 5th day regularly to get back in a rhythm. If they need to shut him down for awhile due to innings, do it next month and get him back into a regular rhythm with three weeks left before the playoffs.
