Not the impression I came away with. Not a lot of weak contact like we are accustomed to seeing out of him. They pulled a lot of his offspeed stuff and ripped a lot of hard hit foul balls. And when he missed his spots around the edges they had their way with him. Similar story in Toronto and to be honest he was pretty meh against NYY when I saw him face them a couple weeks ago.
We are going to be testing his arm like never before this year. I'm hopeful he can dig in and get back to form and also get some rest down the stretch when the division is in hand. But I think a lot of this plays into the calculus for Ludlow.
