Disappointing from Hunter, hopefully they give him the full week and he doesn’t go again until next Sunday.
He would have needed to be damn near perfect anyway for them to win based on the offensive performance so far

Had to listen to game on radio coming back from camp, so my observation through their call
Hunter lacks control for his 3rd start in a row and maybe even more going back. He really hasn’t even been able to afford the luxury of command. Just trying to get in the zone, much less where he’s at in it.
Our hitters approach is staff malpractice. First 2 get on and our 3 and 4 holes swing at first pitch offspeed pitches. Then to rub salt in the wound, when you’re facing a guy with a 1.60 ERA mind you, you let your 3 hole swing away with the only bunting opportunity that makes Sabermetric sense (1st and 2nd no outs) and he hits into a DP
So when he comes up the next time, he promptly bunts for a basehit????? This happens repetitively. I have bitched about it more than I care to remember
Also, it’s time for Hummel and Trammell to talk about their glory days in MLB at their local Rotary

Walker takes or just flat out misses more blatant mistake offspeed pitches than any hitter I can ever remember

Turns out, he wasn't getting hot. Just sees it well at Coors and Dodger stadium. Take him back home and hes lost yet again.
Strikeouts in 8 out of 12 at bats since he returned. Just as useless as the Sugarland Space Debris littering our whole lineup.
