I think you'll see this quite a bit... the club knows that Yed is the future. Fisher and Straw will most likely be gone soonish. Best to play them both as much as possible now to see if (1) you want to keep one of them, ahem, straw (2) the Astros may get lucky and actually have one (or both) of them improve their trade value.

Straw isn’t going anywhere and he’ll be on the postseason roster simply for his baserunning. Listen to Hinch talk about him. Straw may get sent down temporarily but he will be back to stay in September.
