He's hitting .246 which is a far cry away from the worst average on this team, and there's no room for knee jerk decisions on a guy that you've watched fail on the 6 times you happened to catch a game on tv. That doesn't mean he sucks

Dude has cut his strikeouts pretty good even though his average and OBP have dropped off this year. If he could maintain what he's done the last month, that'd be fricking amazing. 150 strikeouts would be unbelievable for him.
