Damn. Sorry guys. Just a little bit of humor.

I guess I should just stick with "Carter Sucks!" So I can fit in?

Yes you must agree with the powers that be or risk being ostracized.

I'm in Taiwan. I was checking the transactions page all day after the game thinking they'd make a move (last night US time).

I think Williams will be with us for a little while longer. I don't expect them to make a knee jerk move like with Clemens or Chapman

Williams is imminently replaceable and needs to go. They have young kids who need to prove where they fit in for the near future sitting in Triple A ready to come up. He is wasting a roster spot because he does not really help them win now and has no place in the future.

If Williams' best role is "emergency starter and long reliever," then we all know he can be replaced by at the worst an equivalent player in the organization for those jobs.

If that's your argument, you can make that case for every single right hander in our bullpen, save Qualls.

Fields
Williams
Farnsworth
Owens

We've won 12 out of the last 16. They're not going to make a bunch of moves while we're playing this well.

Yeah but what has he brought to the table?

He comes in last night, pitches to one batter and walks him on five pitches. There are a couple guys in AAA that can come in and provide a little more impact than he has.

I'm not disagreeing that there may be better options out there.

But you don't frick with a hot streak.

I get that, but if we can improve an area to get better, why not?

Williams has proven time after time that he cannot hold a cant lead and Bo continue to put him out there.

Bo continues to disappoint me, I really am not a big fan. Last night the Astros won in spite of Porter. His bullshite flip flopping just to get Willliams in the game almost cost us when Marwin looked like a little leaguer going after a deep fly ball.

Ok, I will.

No actually, I did not say "make a bunch of moves." Just get rid of Williams (worst of the bunch since Owens is a lefty has too small of a sample size this year). One move to dump an ineffective reliever is not going to mess with a hot streak.

I almost had to move to Houston this week for a job. I would have lived at MMP

@jaysonst: Since George Springer got rolling on May 13, #Astros are 17-9 (3rd best record in MLB). For real? "It's more real than not," says one scout
