Paxton's first 13 pitches: strikeout and 2 flyouts

Keuchel's first 13 pitches: 4 hits and 4 runs.

Last year of deal. That means you would only trade him to a contender and they will never do that.

Trade him to the Yankees, we could use some of their pen pitchers.

McHugh or Peacock would be better than Keuchel for #5 starter. Come at me.

Yes just move him back to the 5 slot. Keuchel has been done since JV showed up.

If it wasn’t for the cy young he wouldn’t be given such a pass by the front office. The dude bad more than good in the 2nd half last year and this year he sucks

I said previously that I would rather see Giles w bases loaded and 1 out w a 1 run lead than Keuchel in the 1st inning EVER

Remember last year when Keuch Fiers bitched about not trading for better pitchers? maybe this year we address that lone weak link in the rotation.

Sometimes things are so predictable in sports it's just fun to watch. Kuckel vs Cy Paxton... does it get any better than that?

3.13 ERA. Respectable but not world leading. So somebody has hit this guy. It's just never us. watch though tonight will be the night we score 4 runs off him.

Peacock has been arse

Keuchel is the least of this team's worries.

Zero power and unreliable high leverage bullpen.

Hunch starting marisnick against a lefty that can hit 99 is not my idea of a good lineup

Is the organization worried more about starting tucker’s clock too early or that he won’t fair well because he Isnt ready to face the type of talent he’ll see at the major league level?

Because there is no fricking way he could be worse than Jake Marisnick.

As for keuchel he’s behind in every count he’s not living at the bottom of the zone. He looks like the first 6-7 games post neck issues. I think he’s lost some feeling in his hands

And he's starting him strictly based on matchups. You might call it a defensive provision with Verlander, a flyball pitcher, on the mound. But with Keuchel, the groundballer up, Jakes defensive contributions are minimized.

AJ can't seriously like Jake vs 99 over Tony Kemp because of R/L matchups
