Thanks, Cubs.

Just bench his arse. I’m tired of infield pop ups and Ks

That ball should have been hit to the sun

Ironic since we should fire Walker into the sun.

He needs a week off. Espada isn’t doing him any favor by continuing to trot him out there. Put Caratini at first and see if time off helps Walker. IIRC, he had a short break earlier in the year and it helped temporarily.

His short break needs to take place in Sugar Land

I would have never believed we would sweep the Phillies and only score 5 runs total in the 3 games. Astros pitching

1. What a series for the entire staff. It’ll be interesting to see how they fare against this Cubs lineup.
2. I’m loving some Cam Smith.
3. I’m ready for Big Jon Singleton.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for our Long Distance Dedication. Today, we have a heartfelt message from Josh and Bill, the pitching coaches for the Houston Astros, reaching out to Kevin, the hitting coach for the Philadelphia Phillies. Here’s what they had to say:
"Dear Casey, we’re Josh and Bill, calling the shots from the Astros’ dugout, and we’ve got to hand it to Kevin over in Philly. For the last three days, his batters have been swinging like they’re lost in a fog at the plate—our pitchers have kept them guessing, and Kevin’s lineup just couldn’t find the rhythm. We know he’s pouring his heart into getting those bats swinging, but right now, it’s our moundsmen who are singing. So, Casey, please send this dedication to Kevin with a nod to his efforts, even if his hitters are feeling a little lonely out there after scoring just a single run in a three-game series. Play ‘One Is the Loneliest Number’ by Three Dog Night for him—it’s only fitting."
Alright, Kevin, this one’s for you, from Josh and Bill in Houston. Here’s hoping your bats heat up soon, but for now, let’s spin this classic tune that captures the solitude at the plate. From 1969, it’s Three Dog Night with One Is the Loneliest Number… on American Top 40.

In Dana and Cranes minds this team is a juggernaut. They will keep winning games scoring 1 and 2 runs at this pace all year. Abreu and Haders arms will not fall off by late august.

Kevin should have listened to his mother. "Mama Told Me Not to Come"!
