Just realized this little interesting stretch of 15 consecutive games against NL teams.

Obviously every series until Yordan is back is pretty big and these guys need to scrap and claw to get W's in his absence, but these next three seem extra important in the scope of the season. The Reds are surging. Mets are underachieving but they have Scherzer and JV lined up to go Mon-Tues (looks like Astros counter with Framber and Javi). Dodgers are the Dodgers.

Abbott for the Reds is making his third career start, so far he's thrown 11 2/3 of scoreless ball with 10K's.

With this offense sputtering it'll be criminal if Dubon and Yanier aren't in the lineup at least 95% of the time during this stretch coming up.

Brown is being pushed back a day and Blanco is starting in his place. So this series is France, Bielak and Blanco.

Yeah, you have hungry kids against bloated and over-rested privilege

I’ll stick to the US Open and CWS

I can’t stomach Maldonado’s presence in the lineup any more. Along with a team of .230-.250 hitters swinging for the Crawford Boxes regardless of count, situation, or pitch

After last night, it's hard to even care what the Astros do this weekend. The only Astros with hits were McCormick (2), Tucker (3), Pena (1), and Diaz (1). 4 guys. That's all. 10 effing strikeouts! It makes it really easy for the other team if you give them almost half their outs in Ks.

I wish I hadn't watched it. It was miserable.

I'm glad I fell asleep during the 7th inning last night to that snoozefest.

Outside of Washington, I can't remember the last series we won, and Cincinatti has been surprisingly playing well lately, and we can't hit the ball. At all.

Definite series loss.

Also don't you guys/Lady find it amazing that the Yordans and the Lances of the world keep getting hurt, yet Moldy somehow miraculously never gets an injury of any kind?

Unfortunately no jail for Dusty, he's done the right thing.

Also Stanek is back and Gage back down to Sugarland

Took 3/4 against Anaheim.

Amazingly we're still in a playoff spot currently, by a game over Anaheim and a game and a half over Toronto. Pretty miraculous really.

Starter. It's been offense and bullpen lately. We're due a shellacking on the front end
