The arrogance of not resigning Morton knowing LMJ was out all year and relying on McHugh and peacock to be starters is the height of irresponsibility by a GM of a contending club.
Couple that with his precious farm system developing zero MLB ready contributors for important bullpen roles and you get another good but underachieving team.
I don't care about your 100 wins season when 80 percent of the league is tanking.
Home field in the playoffs with 4 proven starters and a loaded bullpen is the only acceptable situation for this org.

Tucker is in no man's land this year. Barring injury he's not getting called up. Most likely he will be traded if they have a really big fish on the hook.
He probably has more long term value than Alvarez due to defense. I don't see anyway he doesn't get traded

There just has to be more to the Morton story.
I don't think it had anything to do with concerns over his performance.
It had to be health related, which might be considered puzzling, b/c we took a flier on him to begin with after repeated injuries.
