ETA you mentioned splitting time with kemp-why? Kemp can get his at bats that he has been getting at second with tuve out. Get a little creative prom. I know its in there because you come up with increasingly creative excuses for management.

Because Kemp is the 4th OFer. He’s getting ABs before Fisher. 5th OF who will get a few ABs and a DH here and there.

Gurriel is literally a replacement level player this year. His war via fangraphs and baseball reference is 0.0. heres his slash line in the last 14 days

Ive never disagreed with the reality of whats going to happen. My argument has been about the stupidity of it. We will never develop a prospect again with the way the organization is handling it. If you cant find at bats with the current situation you never will.
You get reps for Brantley and Reddick at first for what?
You have Tyler white taking DH at bats for what?
You have an SEC player of the year at second taking outfield at bats with our starting second baseman out and our prized prospects being outfielders for what?

I really don’t think Fisher will get much game time. Olympus and Tiny King pretty much have utility on lockdown, so I think Fisher is just here as a roster placeholder. He may get some late inning pinch running or defensive work, especially if we get a runner at second with Bregman coming up.

We're also in day two of five straight where we face lefty starters so I don't think we should see Fisher start until getaway Wednesday. But he'll probably start this weekend.
