I’m glad I forgot the game was at 1:10 today.

But also credit to Anderson. He shut us down today. I think Blummer said he’s gone 7+ innings in 8 of his starts this years. Super efficient while our hitters were super impatient

Blown 5-run lead with Framber in G1 and can't give Brown run support today when he does his job and only allows 2.

This teams can just find ways to lose. Let's just try to remember our extra innings games on a 2-win streak and 3 out of 4 extra inning games.

Should have been a series win if not for Framber and his bullshite on Monday

Maybe Framber's bullshite was why so many people said Moldy was so valuable. It's like he's the only one that could control and keep him on track. Some people (pitching coach, Espada, would he listen to JV?) need to have a serious talk with Framber.

Framber was great in the first half of 2023, awful in July and up and down most of the year after that (including bad starts for his final two regular-season starts), on top of being terrible in the playoffs. He seemed to go into a funk after the Astros wouldn't let him pitch (and start) in the All-Star Game last year. Baker and Maldonado were around for all of that. Maldonado was his exclusive catcher last year.

Framber/Javier/Brown all regressed in the second half last year with Maldonado catching most of those games. So the talk that Maldonado was that valuable last year rings hollow. The bottom line is that Framber is capable of melting down on a moment's notice regardless of who is in the dugout or behind the plate. It cost the Astros a home series they should have won against a bad team.

Win 6 in a row, take the series from the Brewers and then turn around and drop the series to the shitty Angels. Exactly what you'd expect from this bunch.

Only Houston can give up a career first HR to a nine hole hitter to lose a game.

Not the first time I've seen us listed as a suitor for a Vlad Jr trade. Feels like I'm taking crazy pills. Apart from the fact that we suck, what in the world of value would we even be able to offer for a year and a half of Vlad Jr?

He’s been average/below average for over a year now, makes 20 million a year and has zero defensive value. He doesn’t have that much trade value
