I don't know this for a fact, but the team wants him to pull the ball. Ashby alluded to this several times last year.
He really can't decide what he wants to do. His eye-hand coordination allows him to take a RC approach, but he could pull middle out into the Crawford Boxes.
Need a strong top hand for that, and he might not be 100%.
Some doubt has crept in. But I'm not worried long term.
