Strom is the most important guy we have on staff...Hinchs job is to not be an idiot.

George is obviously my favorite guy in the lineup...
But I am hereby transferring my champion homeboy love from Matty D to Jake Marisnick.
Dude just looks like a ballplayer, and if he breaks out at the plate, look the frick out.

I was surprised by Valbuena's glove, he saved the game by not allowing that shot down the line to get past him.
Valbuena was known for his defense coming in. That, his high walk rate and unfortunately his low BAPIP is pretty much what the front office knew they were getting by bringing him in.
Say everything you want about Matt Dominguez being lost at the plate and it'll be true, but the kid did play a good defensive third base. There wont be any drop off with Valbuena.

Keuchel and his whole family were at BWW on Washington after the game. His beard is legit and his girlfriend is a total babe
We were sitting out in right field, great atmosphere last night

Yo fellas. Back from hiatus just in time for the start of Astros ball. Was really pumped to see the crowd yesterday. 80+ lets do it.

I'm a lifelong Astros fan. Grew up watching them with my dad. Haven't watched much as I've gotten older and they've started being awful. I'm gonna get back into it this year and try to keep up with the team (we'll see how long this lasts).

Has anyone seen granddad or Tickfaw?

Nope and don't care.
The DAT is a better place without them.
Although, I'm sure they'll show up once we lose a couple in a row.

I absolutely loved the root sports broadcast last night. In game graphics were great and my favorite thing was there was no bottom line scrolling at the bottom of the screen all night. So glad I can watch the Astros again!

It would be awesome if the Astros could get off to a great start. Win a few series in a row, and I think they could win the city back.

Can't stand that ticket scalping POS.
He'll definitely be here to shite on them at some point in the season and say the best thing he ever did is get rid of his "lastros" tickets.

I agree. A fast start would get people back really quick. You can feel the excitement brewing.
ETA: I know it's only one game into the season, but people want to care again. And there's a lot of momentum after a good off season and new TV deal.

There's already a few back. Again, it really isn't a matter of losing fans. As with any other team, if you lose, no one wants to go see you play. No one wants to talk about you. Generate some excitement with new players and a little bit of competence, people will show up. It's no different anywhere else outside of Cards, Cubs, Red Sox or Yankees. There's alot of history with those teams though. They're over 100 years old and regardless of how they play, people will show. Exceptions to the rule

True. Winning cures all.

I think she went to Arkansas too, where they met, but could be wrong on that. Glad Keuchel is a damn beast, unexpected though for sure.

I'm sure it has been mentioned somewhere in this thread so SIAP..
Being in Birmingham, AL, the Astros aren't going to be on TV unless they're playing the Braves (I also don't have cable).. So what's a good website to (preferably legally) watch some games?
