Okert - 15IP 1 ER
Sousa - 6.1IP 0 ER
King - 14.2IP 3 ER
The lefties have been so good
Isaac is a fricking beast down in the count. Get a changeup in the zone Walker

Walker fricking sucks
ETA: 12 multi-strikeout games in 27 games played for him

You gotta pinch Yordan there. Walker may be the most unclutch Astros hitter since Josh Reddick

Jesus Christ Walker he's throwing one pitch.
Dude has stranded a small army on base today. 0-5 with 6 men left on base.

He's Jose Abreu without the tan.

Terrifying how much he looks like Abreu. Strikeouts and Groundouts. Over and over.

2-12 with RISP and 12 LOB

Womp womp, Tigers made Astros pay for a rare defensive miscue and the magic from the bats wasn't there despite the opportunities. Nice series win, hopefully get a sweep this weekend.
Tigers are pretty damn good, that staff and bullpen is very real and didn't even have to see Skubal. Feel like they are an impact power bat away from being a no brainer AL champ, but still kinda dig their lineup as is.

It was a scheduled loss. On to Cincinnati.

Very busy work day, just looked at box score and read the thread
Looks like he gave up 2 solo HRs and all other runs were unearned
We gave them back the first game win with unearned
Very similar teams for sure

Cam looked like he was getting his feet under him but he's back on the struggle bus. 3 strikeout game today. He's hitting around .150 without a 2 hit game since his big 2HR game a couple weeks ago.

Grand slam after the Pena error.
Posted on 4/30/25 at 4:19 pm to Domeskeller
We scored 4 in Game 1 on back to back SS errors, all unearned
Just gave it back today
Pretty equal teams
Great pitching and half a lineup
Comes down to how well 5-9 do at the plate

That was some ugly arse at bats with runners on base and chances to get back in the game.

I need someone to help me make sense of this Wesneski thing.
Espada said he needs extra rest. His last start was 4/25 vs KC and threw 80 pitches which when I looked it up was his shortest outing of the season.
He was scratched vs Detroit, and won't pitch vs CWS. But there's a possibility that he may pitch vs Milwaukee? I smell arm injury of some sort and the team isn't disclosing it. The only thing that I can think of is that the team is trying to avoid fatigue later on in the season. If so, why can't they just come out and say that?
Speaking of disclosing injuries, LMJ seems to have told the media that he had 2 TJ surgeries when only 1 was disclosed. Might've been a slip-up, but definitely sus. Will link the video below

Definitely would have been a sad ending to his retirement account
Not just anybody can be Gil Meche

This is a group of people who expected us to all believe a guy missed 3 months with a bone bruise.

See above.
It’s hard to reconcile liking a team as much as I do the Astros while despising a good portion of the front office.
