Dusty says, "Gonna strand runners on scoring position with no one out? Fine. I'm putting LaForce in the game."

Maldonado had a chance to move straw over but reached for an outside pitch and pulled it to short. Straw would have scored on altuve’s fly ball. Altuve and Brantley 0-4 in their last 4 at bats with a runner on 2nd. Could be tied right now if either comes through.

Then again, probably wouldn’t matter with Joe Smith on the mound.

Well, why did we stay up tonight?

Joe Smith eventually has to get back to back outs if he keeps getting on the mound

It will happen. At Maldonado’s rate of hitting safely

Mariners best hitter got himself out against LaForce. He should be ashamed.

I enjoyed Correa’s confidence there, making the play nonchalant

I find that refreshing for a man his age

Yuli got in great shape to get back in form this season. He started his career late so he wants it to last as long as possible.
