It’s me again. McCullers sets out to prove that Road Lance is a thing of the past and will try to prevent 15-147 from happening. The offense has been spoiling us with crooked numbers so we’ll see how long that holds.

In other news, our 21st rated prospect Myles Straw is killing it in Corpus. He has the highest OBP by a wide margin. He leads the league in steals with 11 ... second-best has 6
He also leads the league in triples and is top-8 in OPS despite having no doubles and no home runs

But yuli already missed the first several weeks of the season and he even had an off day after he came back? Yuli needs the reps, not strikeout looking Fisher who can run the bases fast.

I agree completely. I think that last year justified doing these off days in Hinch's mind.

I was looking at his baseball reference page last night. He's mostly a singles hitter, very little power. But his strikeout to walk numbers are fantastic and he's been called the fastest guy in our system. Dude can fly. He'll be interesting to watch

If he does not develop any power, Straw would likely bat at the bottom of the Astros order. Second leadoff kind of guy.
