Damn two pitches up this inning and they make Framber pay for both of them

Most teams punish mistakes. That's not part of the Cintron Method. Why punish a 91 mph fastball down the pipe when you can foul it off and then ground out instead?

But the everyday genuises that cover the Astros insist Cintron and Snitker are not the problem.

BTW, we're almost three full weeks into the season, and the Astros will leave tonight still trying to put together consecutive victories.

Framber got absolutely rinsed

Cards seemingly had a plan tonight and executed. Sad you never see that from the guys in orange

MLB 2025 Watchability Index: Ranking most fun teams to watch

They ranked us 17 which tells me they didn't watch.

Our pitchers lead the league in K’s and lead the AL in opponents batting avg I believe, but I still don’t know about this team. We’re getting smoked tonight.

Anyone else see Trout and the foul ball vs Houston? I thought it was funny that he signed the ball for the kid, after getting the ball ripped out of his glove.

Rome did a good article today profiling how much the right-handed hitting roster handicaps us. Something needs to be done there. We could really use a left-handed option in the OF or 2B.

Christ. Running into an out on a groundball in front of you down 7-0. These clowns can't do anything right.

They couldn't hit the left-hander Anderson the other night, either. Roster construction is part of it, but this is the 16th game of the season. This will be the 11th game the Astros have scored 3 runs or fewer.

Replacing hitting coaches is like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. But at a certain point, if the area you oversee doesn't produce, you get replaced in most walks of life, regardless of whether it's really your fault. This offense has been an inconsistent mess for at least three seasons now, and it was quite hit or miss in 2022. They don't win that World Series without an elite pitching staff.

Kalas was just touting the Cardinals early offensive success in 2025. They were one of baseballs worst offenses last season. Guess who they fired at the end of the season?

I thoroughly enjoyed this after that arse ripping. The 7-8 year old softball game I watched in real time had much more appeal than what Crane, Bagwell, Espada, and Cintron keep putting forth. I am kind of tired of bitching about the off field leadership, but there is way too many on field targets to list. It’s all of them.
