A long awaited showdown between the Good Guys and AJ Hinch, who was predictably long ostracized from the baseball world after his role in purchasing several large dugout trash cans.

I'm glad someone in MLB was finally able to forgive him and give the man a second chance. We'll see if ALL THAT TIME away from the game has improved his hunches.

Meanwhile for the Astros... the body count rises.

None of the Astros' hitters have a major league AB vs. Casey Mize... so... that bodes well, right?

Mize probably finna throw 8 shut out innings.

Much like redneck, there's no way he goes that deep.

I wonder if this is the first time CK has seen Hinch since game 7. Hinch should watch his back

In better news I have been busy as hell the last 4-5 days and will be back on the couch for this series where our record is 5-0 thus far

Good thing the MLB had mercy and only scheduled the last series with Oakland for 3 games instead of 4. Y'all's record against the A's would then be a pathetic 5-3 instead of slightly less pathetic but still quite sad 5-2. Write your buddy Manfred a thank you note and ask if he can get you out of facing the Green & Gold juggernaut for the rest of the season.

Then we can meet in the postseason and the A's can fall flat on their face/get whupped again. For the millionth time since 1990.

This guy has all the right stuff to be a DAT Astros fan. I’m hoping your As fall into oblivion by the break so you can hop on the Astros bandwagon

Can we expect a league wide walk off today?:

I hope not that would be incredibly disappointing.

Hopefully this is out of caution in case things were to escalate down time by the time the game ends and fans and the teams were stuck in a bad predicament

I’m doing great man thanks for asking. Cancer free as of 12/31. I go back in 2 weeks for check up scans and if they’re all clear I don’t have to go back for another 6 months

I dunno, baw. It would be hard from a statistical standpoint to have every game on a single day ending with a walk off.
