If Castro were on deck, you send Jake on a pop up on the infield.

Well at least Harris has looked to continue his performance from last year.

That was not a mistake. That was a very shallow flyball. If he is thrown out, everyone in here would be screaming, "How do you run on that with Carlos Correa on deck?!?"

Nope. You're down to 4 outs after the catch is made. You've got a fast runner and a bad arm. Yeah Correa is great but with 2 outs, you're counting on a wild pitch or a single. If we peg Correa as a .280 hitter, there's a rougly 72% chance he's going to make an out. That was the best opportunity to tie the game.

3 Hits against this very average pitcher...pretty demoralizing

I fully expect this type of performance any time Houston goes up against a LH.

Haven't seen a Brewers lefty all day though.

So you'd rather potentially take the bat out of Correa's hands on a 200 foot pop up where the CF'er had all his momentum going forward to make a throw? That is pretty hilarious it was absolutely the right call to hold steady at third.

But that is completely beside the point. Springer has got to put a better AB than that. I'm fine with the out if he battles and swings at good pitches but that was another trash at bat by Springer. He has absolutely got to be better against breaking balls

I'm not watching. At work. Thought someone mentioned he was a lefty earlier in this thread.

How is that hilarious? It's probably a really close call, but I would lean on going. You're acting like Correa bats .500 or something. It's even less funny since he made a garbage throw, confirming the intel Brownie and Ashby gave us.

Deserved to lose. Gave away an innings worth of outs on the bases alone. On to The Masters.

We have to win every game when we hold the other team to three. That won't happen too much this year.

No worries....we have McHugh on the bump against Kc tomorrow. It's a new day.

im not acting like that, but he is the best hitter on this team. Why would you want to potentially not have him up to the dish in a high leverage situation with the game on the line because you foolishly run into an out? Every out is precious.

But anyway silly discussion tough break for the on the last two batters. Both guys hit the ball hard. A lot of good baseball ahead for this team

So we lose 2/3 to the shite stain Brewers and head home four against the reigning champions. So we're absolutely getting swept or losing 3/4 right?
