It was likely a position player
The score was already 17-3
But the Astros don’t need to worry about scoring runs at home
People just willingly pile up to drink $14 beer and watch the other team hit anyway

It’s weird that you find attending Astros games to be offensive. Maybe go for a walk outside.

Offensively this is the best lineup we can put out there

I love attending games. I really like watching Astros batting practice, and I want to see the Astros score runs and win
I get to do these things more often when I go to any other ballpark not named MMP/Daikin
It’s not by chance. And nobody seems to know why. I’m 2-7 in WS games at MMP. Last year, Astros lost both playoff home games. Year before that, lost home games to Rangers ALCS. ‘19 lost all WS home games. The White Sox, Nationals, and Braves have celebrated on our field.
This is not just a statistical anomaly, yet nothing has been done about it. At some point, you would think they would change the routine. They do so well on the road, historically good. Maybe take batting practice closer to game time? But God forbid they might have to sign something or be bothered.
So yes, that offends me. And I wish it would offend more to maybe affect some changes. If that’s weird, then guilty as charged.

Astros just made a small trade and placed Javier on 60 day IL

After watching this pathetic offense for 4 games, I have no faith in them to win tonight. Thus, I am laying $200 on the giants ML.
Here’s to breaking the offensive slump!

It’s too early for me to pay for Astros W’s. LOL

Thrilled to spend my evening in here bitching about the bats for the next 2 1/2 hours

The pitch clock has done wonders to protect my liver by shortening these games in a very appreciable manner.
ETA: Nice start.

Yordan acting like Chris Carter.

I can’t believe Wesneski hasn’t thrown a curveball since high school. Guy is 27

Are these umpires doubling down on being mostly shitty? Seems their zones have widened in the small sample size of this season.

Even Bobby Dynamite is catching an interview. Good for him

Walking the 8-9 hole hitters is certainly a choice.
