Being sent to Phoenix this week - very likely taking Tues night/Weds off to go watch some games. DBacks/Cubs on Tues night is likely happening, gonna look around for a good game on Weds.

Kidnap a couple of relief pitchers and bring them back with you.

Update: The Astros appear to be long-shots to sign Blake Snell, with the Giants as the favorites, per @BNightengale

. What have I heard? It's my understanding that Houston and Snell have never been close in numbers through the whole process.

Forearm strain for Urkel. Apparently no immediate plans for surgery. Rest and rehab but he'll be out a period of time. Currently the rotation looks like...

Framber
Javi
Brown
France
Blanco/Bielak

Spaghetti

Forearm muscle strain for Quidy. Not gonna touch a ball for a few days and will start season on IL.

For those new to the DAT, or Astros in general, what they are telling you is that Urkel needs TJ. But they will delay disclosing that info until they have exhausted all alternatives of dumpster diving for mediocre SP, else they risk the chance of having to pay above league minimum for Urquidy’s replacement.

Framber yesterday and Javi today getting knocked around as we near the end of camp. Encouraging..

Javi walked 4 including a bases loaded walk and also hit a batter with the bases loaded.

Hoping I’ll get more excited about this season once game start to matter. Right now it just feels so meh

I suppose that’s how I’ve been feeling about life in general though so I doubt that helps

Yeah, it was depressing at a time when I’m eager for the season to start, but it was raining for 3 innings, and everybody generally has looked like hot piss tonight, hitting, fielding, and pitching.

Not judging our start off the last 3 Spring exhibitions for sure.

Verlander and Urquidy out definitely sucks, but won the division by a count hair last year and missed the WS. The team we barely nipped went on to win it all, after we raped and pillaged our last series at their home park.

I guess I’m just saying careful what you wish for, and remember, you’re gonna thank Dusty in the end.
