I was hoping we'd advance and play the Braves but my God could you imagine if we had won and were playing the Dodgers for the World Series? The media (and probably the Dodgers themselves) would be wholly unbearable especially since we'd probably lose that series.

Absolutely 100% cheering for the Rays. I know they just beat us, but I like that team. Hard not to cheer for, unlike the Hypocrites. Ain't behind that.

Agreed, other than Willy Adames's punchable face.

I felt like Tom Hanks in this scene every time we pitched to Arozarena

That was such a special ground out by Mookie. The way he works the count and then gracefully places the ball on a deliberate path and gallops down the line without hesitation reminds you that he's one of the greats in our game.

We need a drinking game for every camera shot of Mookie in the dugout.

The Dodgers might be the most unlikable team ever.

Yes, I realize the irony in that coming from an Astros fan.

They are basically the 1990s-2000s Yankees but with an extra level of douchiness.

No surprise, the Rays pitching isn't nearly as good when Bregman and Yuli aren't around to bail them out with double plays any time a threat is presented.

Yea no kidding. Didn’t think Rays pitchers were allowed to give up hits with RISP

I tried to explain to the Rays fans that found their way here during our series that the Rays' good baseball fortune couldn't last forever.

To say that they won the series with smoke and mirrors would be a discredit to them because they played well, but damned if they didn't have a lot of things go their way. They are NOT a good hitting team right now, but they masked that with defense, pitching, and shitty Astro RISP numbers.

Now they are facing a team that is better than the Astros and their luck has run out. They are being exposed.

I said Dodgers in 5. I'll stick to that, painful as it is.

Still not a peep from Dodger fans about the player that cheated them from winning a World Series 2 years ago that they ended up signing anyway eh? Gee I wonder why? But yeah let's still melt about the Astros for no reason at all.

Dodgers are probably going to end up winning. But I'll still be cheering for the Rays cause they're the Rays (which is obviously a very likeable team), and no one should be cheering for a team of hypocrites to begin with.

The Dodgers have never been likable going all the way back to at least when Dusty Baker was playing for them. The opponent never wins, it is just always lucky, cheats, we were hurt, etc. That’s been their attitude since at least the ‘70s.

Vin Scully is great and the stadium looks beautiful. Other than that, I can’t say I like anything else about the Dodgers.

There was a Lebron comparison from Joe Buck on the air yesterday too. Great player, top 5 player in baseball right now I think for sure. One of the best baseball players or athletes of all time? Lol

I think the writer of the crap that you posted is confusing "greatness and immortality" with "wild coincidence".

I figured this was the matchup the media was secretly rooting for if they couldn't have Yankees/Dodgers. The most hated team vs. the big market. It would have gotten more viewers than what we have now.

Thing is, I can hate almost all the Dodgers, but I can't hate Mookie. He's a nice guy and he's a player I'd love if he were on my team.

It's not his fault the media is treating him like he's Mookie Ruth Jordan Brady Gretzy Betts.

Still though, frick the Dodgers.
