Is there a team in Louisiana I’m not aware of?
Lol at you bandwagon Astro fans not from Houston or Texas.

As far as pitchers Chris Archer may be an interesting guy to look at. He is only a few years from a top rotation guy and still young (28) plus he should be fairly cheap and may be willing to take a 1 year pillow deal.
Kluber, Minor, and Paxton are some other interesting names depending on cost.

I like Odorizzi, Garrett Richards, or Taijuan Walker as cheap options.
shite maybe a Robbie Ray too, someone who can be a reclamation project for Stromm

I don't see the Jay's letting him walk after how he performed for them.... Their rotation is better with him and possibly Ray

Good point, and this is a good opportunity for the Jays to spend with their cost controlled young core.
It’s gonna be tough for these guys looking for a chance to bet on themselves and maybe take a one year deal to prove their worth with an impending lockout in 2022

No you’re not.
LINK
There's a link to 2021 Free agents.
Looking through it, particularly at the OF options, I somewhat liked the idea someone suggested about Jackie Bradley Jr.
As far as the rotation, Chris Archer has an $11M team option that's sure to be declined by the Pirates. Archer has long since been the statcast darling who's production didn't match his peripherals but at this point its looking like this just is who he is. Could Strom turn him into another reclamation project?

Rotation: Greinke, McCullers, Archer (1 year 8 million with option for 12), Framber, Urquidy
Put some of the other young guys in long relief or more seasoning in AAA because Framber/Urquidy will have to have some starts skipped as they would probably each be on 150-160 inning limits.
Bullpen: Pressly in the 8th, go big and sign Hendricks to shore it up since Osuna isn't coming back.
C- will probably be the same although I'd like McCann if I could get him
1B- Yuli/Toro
2B- Altuve
SS- Correa
3B- Bregman
LF- Tucker
CF- Bradley
RF- Gordon/Profar
DH- Alvarez
Bench would be similar to this year and last few years.

My offseason priorities would be signing Springer and Brantley, and extending Correa. I think it's feasible, but probably eliminates the possibility of any high-priced free agents.
Archer would be a decent target for a reclamation project.
Dee Gordon might be a cheaper OF option, he's certainly not going to be extended for $14MM.
Garrett Richards would be a top target of mine... he's not too old and has had success before in the AL West.
Jimmy Nelson is another intriguing option, if he's healthy.
If Springer moves on, I'd love to go for DJ LeMahieu and move Altuve to the OF, but that might not go over well with Jose.

No thanks to Bradley, if they are gonna spend 10+ mil on an outfielder I’d at least like them to have one hit tool. He fricking stinks at the plate
He has way too much swing and miss, and doesn’t drive the ball out of the park enough to warrant that money for me

He isn't getting 10m either probably something closer 8 though and he would be a great defensive player

Still probably too much for me, went back and added to my previous post, but he just strikes out too much.

Oof. Imagine how many balls would sail over him and get to the wall for extra bases.

I mean you not getting Joc, Ozuna, etc if Springer/Brantley leave and you would need someone who can play CF. Leaves your FA limited as Marte would be the only one assuming the Marlins don't pick up his option.
If you get someone like Gordon to play CF then who would you add on the corner? Puig? Joc? Souza?

Don’t particularly care for any of those guys tbqh, but whoever they get will need to be a fit in the lineup, ie low strikeout guy at the end of order who gives you a chance to turn the lineup over.
Hopefully Click can go the Rays route and find a quality guy that may be blocked in another organization and make a trade.

Gordon was awful when they tried him in center a few years back. He also brings nothing at the plate. I do not want him at all personally
