Davis scares me because of how Maddon used him. Lets of high stress innings on that arm the last 3 years.

I don't think so. Giles was frustrating as hell in the postseason but I don't think they're just gonna sign a big time closer and move him to the 8th inning because of those appearances. You can always deal for a closer at the deadline
I do think they'll get a good RH reliever but think it would be more like a Brandon Morrow or Addison Reed type

I think McGee, Watson, and Duensing are the only three lefty free agents that would be significantly better than just trying to bring back Liriano in that role.

I kinda want to see Moran get a shot at a bench role where he would DH and play some 1B and LF. Almost like another Marwin without the middle infield capability. I liked what I saw and think he made some great adjustments before the injury

I think that Peacock could become our Andrew Miller. A guy that you use at different times in the game in high leverage situations.

Josh is getting too much hate for getting cold at the wrong time, imo. He had a great year outside of when the lights were the brightest, and even then, he didn't take it out there on defense.

Am I crazy to think that LMJ could become our closer. If Morton continues to be as good, the rotation could be:
Verlander
Keuchel
Morton
Peacock
McHugh
Even pick up someone else to be a 4 or 5 if you don't like this rotation.
I know he wouldn't be a traditional closer, but I kinda think he has the right mentality to be a closer and I think Giles may be done.
