Lost in the tightness of all that is Verlander finally getting a “win.” Glad for the guy to get that off his back no matter what happens the rest of the series.

Hind sight and all, but that's why you don't pinch hit for Maldy, McCormick, Mancini. Fair is fair, Dusty fricked up with Montero but leaving those guys in saved the game defensively.

Maldy had key blocks of nasty pitches and framed a ton others, Mancini saved two runs in the 8th and Chas probably saved the game with that catch.

Mancini / Mccormick plays were so crucial.

I’m on cholesterol and blood pressure meds! I can’t handle these championship games. Saints, Astros, or the university of LSU

Outside of game 1 I've been surprisingly measured and calm through the ups and downs and tense moments but that was major stress. I didn't even wanna look at the pitches and I'm normally not that guy.

I don't know what happened to the bag of dicks y'all sent Pressly in New York after he blew that one game, but if we hold on and win it all, the bag of dicks gets a ring and a players bonus share

David Ortiz cannot speak English. It’s awful he’s an analyst.

I'm seriously trying to figure out how to stop this cramping. Feels like I'm being stabbed. Never again, I'll suffer with heartburn.

I’m drinking tequila now to calm my nerves. That was a rough game.
