I’m the least worried about Bregman. He had some huge moments in the DS and was an insane Judge catch away from a one or two run double last night.

We’ve seen Tucker and Altuve do this before and they eventually break out. It puts a lot of pressure on Pena and Yuli in the meantime though

3 for 16 from the top 5 aint gonna get it, and that was all on Pena.

Todays line-up according to me

Pena ss
Altuve 2nd
Alvarez LF
Bregman 3rd
Tucker RF
Gurriel 1st
McCormick CF
Maldanaldo C
HensleyDH

Go Stros, frick the Yankees

Personally, I enjoy my Frambering with an appetizer of Moldy Nachos.

Debating on if I should let it ride on the cash I made on Moldy getting a hit last night. Probably not--he is 1-11 vs. Severino. I think I will hold on to that cash and blow it elsewhere

With Pena absolutely raking... Altuve should start seeing more fastballs in the zone.

The question will remain, will Altuve actually see the fastballs in the zone.

Bodes well for us that Altuve, Bregman, Yordan, and Tucker were all non-existent.

Obviously Yordan is just being dodged but the other 3 have to find ways to get the ball in the outfield grass.

Don't forget that Bregman was robbed. That Judge catch was phenomenal. I believe Bregs also got walked. I count that as a good AB. He shouldn't have been swinging at bad pitches.

Altuve looked better last night. He's going to own Yankee Stadium as usual. Tucker needs to find his bat.

I am not a fan of moving Altuve. Yes, he has struggled this post season. But the question remains, do you believe Altuve is the 0-everything hitter he is right now in the postseason? Or do you think he's closer to the .300/28HR hitter he was during the season?

You don't move him just for a few shitty at bats. He had a good approach last night and came up empty. He sets the stage for this lineup, he needs to stay at the top or the order.

I don't think you can mess with Pena at all. He's still a Rookie and has done best in the 2 spot. It's currently wroking for him and I wouldn't change it. Altuve is looking better. He will come around.

Had to come back to add...

frick the Yankees...always frick the Yankees!

pena needs to be protected to see fastballs which is why he shines in front of Yed.

I think he needs to be lead off going forward, if not now, next year. Altuve has been great but he is too aggressive by nature. Forcing him to think before swinging is a good thing.

Bregman scorched a ball to right center in the first that behemoth made a nice play on, preventing 2 runs.

John and Lance on 97.5 this morning said Astros are something like 30-5 with Peña in the 2 hole. Can’t mess with that. Altuve will snap out of it soon, as others have said his approach was much better last night than vs Mariners

If by “looked better” you mean not taking wild hacks at pitches nowhere near the zone, then I agree. Now let’s see if he can barrel up some pitches and keep them fair.

Breggers, Yordan, and Tucker will be fine.

Anyone going to the game tonight?

Altuve managed to even get walked once. He actually didn't swing at 4 pitches of a single AB! It seemed like an October miracle. So yes...he definitely looked better. I'm hopeful for a hit tonight!

I smell a 2-4 with a run scored type of night.
