The good ole boys did it their way, which in the post-season has been a good way. They fell behind, and the early part of the game left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

But we got outstanding work from the much maligned bullpen for the second straight game, shockingly enough.

Well these people have hopefully figured it out just in time.

Meanwhile, Correa and Altuve continue to drag their nuts on everything they come across in the post-season.
And Carlos admiring his go-ahead homer was a thing of beauty.

A 2-0 series lead going back to the shithole known as Fenway would be outstanding. It's time to go get 'em again Astros!

Hope Garcia can turn in a "home field" type performance tonight, we could really do with 5+ IP...but I know that's a tough ask.

I'd really like to stop stranding so many runners on base. Maybe the boys can get started on that today, for the rest of the series!

Garcia is due for a good one.

I know for sure LSU is going to get the shite beat out of it today so let’s make sure the nightcap of this two-sport doubleheader goes the way we need it.

Oh, and FODB and FTRS.

When they tell you Altuve has 20 career post season home runs, remember he actually has 21

Time to bash "hometown hero" Nathan Eovaldi today.

Yankees and Dodgers fan admits Astros are good.

Eovaldi looked sharp in the WC game. I hope he gets shelled this afternoon.

eta: Eovaldi pitched against the Astros on June 9. His line? 5.2 IP 11 H 5 ER 3 BB 5 SO 1 HR

Truly amazed at how well the bullpen held up last night and really overall in the postseason. We knew without LMJ that they were gonna be called on a lot and that was a great start. Javier especially came in when the game was getting away from us and settled it down for a couple innings and I expect he’ll have to do it again at some point.

If we can beat the Red Sox best pitcher today and go up 2-0, that would have to be a punch to the nuts for Boston.

I’m going full Ryno today….

With the news that McCullers is questionable today and if the Dodgers win the NL, I’m not sure the pitching will be able to hold their end of the bargain. Hate to hear that here won’t be a TOR the rest of the way out.

I just made myself a Screaming Viking to warm up for the game.
