I’ve always felt the scandal broke him. He’s made “safe” hires ever since and absolutely zero high impact free agent signings. He also made zero attempt to retain any of our big names that left. Now on the surface, aside from Cole, letting them go appears to be smart, but personally think he was being cheap and got lucky more than anything. Tucker replacing Springer was a Luhnow thing, Peña got hot in the playoffs and there is no way anyone can convince me that Framber would develop into what he has become.

His treatment of Click was inexcusable and that has become more and more obvious as this season has progressed. Everything we were fed about why he didn’t like him (not enough big moves?) has proven to be bullshite as we did next to nothing in the one offseason since. And biggest of all, he’s allowed the a-hole in the dugout to have way too much power.

Seattle’s gonna win this division! Hopefully Stros hold onto the wild card.

I hope they miss the playoffs so I can stop watching this shite.

I still hope they make it, but if Dusty stays, I really can’t do another season. Felt the same way last year but a banner fixes everything.

And just like that Rangers down 10-1 lol. They’re trying to give it away but we won’t take it.

Its been epic watching the rangers and the Astros try to out shite themselves down the stretch as the Mariners slowly inch closer to taking over

agreed 100%

www will never be the Yankees Mets or dodgers but with the window we have right now there’s no reason we can’t be spending like the rangers, Phillies or padres other than a cheap owner milking success for every penny

Yea I just can’t get on board with hoping they miss the playoffs. I’ve enjoyed every second of this run and being in contention and making the playoffs I don’t wanna go back

Well frickety frick. frick frick frick frick!!!

I was in the car driving to Shreveport to see my parents. Last I saw it was the 5th and things were going well.

How the frick do you give up 4 runs when you’ve got 2 out in the bottom of the 9th. 2 Ks!!!

Truckloads of dicks to Dusty, Maldy, and Pressly. And Crane and Bagwell as well!!!

Maldy kept calling for the breaking ball and press kept throwing it starting just above the zone and breaking right into the middle of it, it was maddening but I’m guessing dusty won’t say anything like “Maldonado and press didn’t seem to be on the same page…”. I’m ready tk crash and burn to clean house

If the score in Seattle holds, they tie the West lead tonight.
Tex 72-56
Sea 72-56
Hou 72-58 (-1)

Astros are officially in 3rd again.

Mariners are due for a wicked regression. Their offense is horrendous but they are taking advantage of their soft schedule

Theyve got seven against the Rangers and three against the Stros in the last week-ish of the season.

Mariners win and have tied the Rangers because the Astros (fodb) absolutely refuse to take control.

Draftkings odds had them at +550 to win the division a week ago, it's now down to +190.

Mariners have a 107 wRC+ as a team. Astros have a 106.

Since August 14, I have bet $50 against the Astros in every game they’ve played.

I’ve won $248 in that time span.

Well, they have lost 6 of 8. So, good wagering.
