No the staff is actually complete right now, only guy working his way back is Brantley and he hasn’t seen big league pitching in 16 months and his shoulder is wrecked so not counting on much there.

Ah my bad I don’t check up oftentimes on all teams and just thought I heard somewhere he was working his way back similar to how Kyle Wright is for Atl and would be available in the playoffs.

Nah he’s been ruled out for the season (had surgery) and honestly who knows when he will ever pitch. Every year it’s been when, not if he gets hurt.

I "get it" and why LMJ wants to be a starter, but his arm just can't handle the stress of 150 innings,. He needs to swallow his pride and make the mental transition to a Andrew Miller type role, 2-3 innings at a time, 1 trip through the lineup at the high stakes moment.

LMJ's laughing all the way to the bank. He f'ed the Astros over by not having the surgery when the injury first happened , still getting paid, and now a HEB tv star. Easy street.
