I paid like $140 to sit a mile above the field for ALCS Game 7

At least you were there.

In which section did you sit?

I don't totally remember but 428 sounds right. Potato quality picture from my busted phone camera but you get the idea. not the greatest seats I've ever had but definitely the most fun I've had at an Astros game.

Among players with at least 12 at bats so far in spring training, Ted Tucker has the second highest slugging percentage and third highest OPS (DAT fan favorite JD Davis currently ranks second based on those qualifiers )

OT discussion. It seems CrawfishBoxes is hemorrhaging their writers. The site manager recently announced he was leaving. This after several of the long time writers quit. In the comment section of that announcement, many of them didn't hold back with their dissatisfaction with how they're treated. Apparently Vox Media which owns the SB Nation sites, puts out huge demands of writing staff which basically is made up of hobbyists who have other jobs.

I had noticed over the off season, there were very few articles being posted. Apparently this was the issue.

quote:

These sites are run by managers who are expected to post articles and videos, track and sometimes break news, manage writers, conduct interviews, assign stories, find contributors, edit posts, write analysis, and generally do the work of journalism. These responsibilities can add up to a demanding job—or, in some cases, a close to full-time one—but site managers are independent contractors who are paid a monthly stipend that varies widely. According to more than a dozen former and current site managers I spoke to, that stipend tends to hover around $600. The stipend often doubles as a budget.

I sat in 427 for Game 4 of the 2005 WS.

Looks like its about the same view.

Julia and Todd are swapping places innings 4-6 tomorrow. Julia is doing play by play.

I hope Julia is actually ruthless with the main mic.

"Cole is obviously a bust. Think we can get Moran back, Blummer?"

"Umm..... No, you look at it!"
