He looked functional early but that's gone to shite. Command issues have started to pop up again.

Technically, since we don't play a Thursday game in May, we could keep a 4 man rotation on a 5th day schedule and not need a 5th starter but the team seems to value extra rest.

Swings like that show Abreu can still do it. I think the pressure of being the new big ticket guy on a new team that has won a lot must have gotten in his head.

The only times he does hit the ball hard, it's to the deepest part of the park for an out.

He's hit some hard on the ground as well. He's just a little off. I hope he'll listen to coaches and teammates for a breakthrough.

I love how that 3-2 to Schwarber is a ball, but the pitch to Hensley was a strike

Just hurts the sport not to get shite right

So aggravating. It’s like using a telegraph when you have a cell phone

Marsh just got screwed, which doesn't bother me. But this umpire is awful.

Bregman UCLA’d that

Embarrassing for him

Stay in front and a run doesn’t score regardless if he doesn’t make the play

I don’t understand that last play. Didn’t Realmuto stand up and make contact with Jake’s bat? Did Jake obstruct the catcher?
