He cant get fired if hes not under contract. You're better than this.

I also fully believe that tillman was being cheap and Dantoni didnt like the way the roster construction went and got tired of it.

Looks like the Pacers are going after MDA.

That is a very interesting pairing imo.

Houston Rockets are more screwed than I originally thought. No future picks to trade.
2020 pick goes to Denver
2021 and 2025 picks are swaps with OKC
2024 and 2026 picks go to OKC
2023 and 2027 can't be traded due to the Stepien rule

Where is this team three years from now?

Most of that is on GM Harden who went over Morey to go get Westbrook.

Since morey has been w CC only the spurs have won more games. Zero losing seasons. Rebuilt the roster after losing Yao and McGrady without tanking. Okie doesn’t like morey bc he pulled off the biggest heist in nba history so he will try to take any kinda W on daryl he can get.

The biggest trade heist in NBA history would be when the Mavs traded Robert Tractor Traylor for Dirk Nowitzki and Pat Garrity. They then immediately flipped Garrity for Steve Nash.

heist? heists have a payoff, bro.... winning regular season games, but not having hardware to show for it don't mean shite... you know this...

you can keep putting lipstick on that pig if you want, but at the end of the day, you have to face the fact that the Rockets are not as good as you try to make them out to be....

Im starting to come around to Dantoni to Pels. He's run offenses showcasing different positions and can slow our pace down to cut down on turnovers until we get an intelligent pg.

His only team to not make WCF was a washed up lakers but even that team was playing much better before Kobe tore his Achilles.

He can come coach us for a couple years, retire, and if he gets a couple of deep playoff runs we'll attract a lot of talent coaching and player wise

A GM is not out there playing, putting the ball in the hoop. He cannot control injuries. His job is to build a roster that is capable Of winning the title.

When hou has Paul capela and harden On the court they were 50-5, 74-75 win pace. He built a roster to take down GOAT. he did his job. Chris hurting himself is not on the gm.

so.... he failed... indubitably

quote:

50-5, 74-75 win pace.

again, REGULAR season wins don't equate to titles.... quit trying to make that conflated argument... you sound silly and rather desperate to equate the two, when CLEARLY they are not the same...

quote:

He built a roster to take down GOAT

but they didn't... again, he failed...

quote:

he did his job.

by what metric? let me guess.... it's gonna involve regular season wins, isn't it? again, how many rings is he responsible for bringing to Houston?

quote:

Chris hurting himself is not on the gm.

not having enough capable depth is though....

Small ball is just what it sounds like a good gimmick. Will it WIN TITLES?? Hell to the NO!

50-5 includes the playoffs. Up 3-2 on the KD warriors. Daryl did his job. Executive of the year as voted on by his peers. Built the title winning sqaud if not for a fluke injury.

Not really, Golden state mixed in bigs with excellent shooters when they won those titles.

Bigs were never on the court when it mattered.

not in crunch time.
