Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has a new, five-round championship main event for the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, set for inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., July 9, 2016.

Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones, part two.

The announcement was made on Wednesday during the promotion's visit to Good Morning America on ABC, which means Cormier is cleared to resume training after his recent injury setback. In addition, Jones -- fresh off his UFC 197 win over Ovince Saint Preux -- is expected to sail through this check-upwithout incident.

As much as I would want Cormier to win, I feel like Jones is going to make him his beeeyotch again.

just me, but I would have made 200 a triple main event

weidman/rockhold
jones/cormier
diaz/mcgregor

obviously, you would forsake the other cards, but 200 is supposed to be the king ding a ling of cards...

Did we watch the same first fight? Jones def won, but I hardly saw Jones make Cormier his beeeeyotch. It was a typical boring arse Jones fight won with length and scoring. I dont think Cormier or Jones had a single cut or bruise on their bodies

can't believe how hard Dana White is f'ing McGregor over some minor BS just because he didn't 100% toe the line. McGregor reasonably IMO, after what happened in his last fight, wanted to focus more on training and being ready for the fight. I'm no big super fan of McGregor, but this seems really petty on the part of White after all the money McGregor has helped pump into the UFC.

I love DC, but he will lose probably. He will not be made a "bitch" I don't think though.

The first fight was DC just not being able to deal with Jones' length and running completely out of steam. He wasn't beat down or anything, Jones is just a terrible matchup for him. I don't see that changing, unfortunately.

Dana gave Conor a title shot after beating Denis freaking Siver because of his promotion. So now that Mcgregor is on top and gotten his money, he doesn't want to do pressers over 3 months before the fight? Not how it works buddy

I honestly don't think Jones wins this time. He's got 2 months to heal his injuries and make major changes because he looked like shite on Saturday. He looked way too big and was slow and predictable. The only thing that saved him is OSP looked worse.
I get it that it was his first fight back BUT he is so banged up that he was put on a 6 mth medical suspension. So he's got to heal and prepare for a Cormier that's going to be hungrier than ever.

He didn't train in a cage until he was already getting KOed repeatedly, then it was already too late.

But

CroCop became too timid and one dimensional.
He would only back up and kick. He refused to even throw punches, he'd just push off and back up

Funny how he started losing when he was getting tested for PEDs (and you can't pull the "prime" bs because he won the openweight gp in Pride right before signing).

Cro Cop joined the UFC a decade ago at UFC 67. Everyone in the UFC was juicing in 2007. Sure they got tested here in the states, but all the fighters knew exactly when they would be tested.

DC just needs to go up to HW. He had a hard enough time cutting weight w/ IV's now that there's no saline rehydration he could have a kidney shutdown.

Right, that's why Vitor belfort did so much better in Pride than the UFC...
