Lol. The man attended and graduated from Columbia University. You know, the ivy league school in NYC.

Racism should definitely rally more people to his cause.
Just everyone get a DNA test so Wiley can decide who is legit.
I love the nut show.

Just goes to show how quickly identity politics can get utterly absurd

I’ve said this since the kneeling started. Look at kaep’s social media circa 2014 vs after being benched.
This. I just wonder if he really opted out of his contract because he figured he could get 20+ million a year from another team OR he kind of knew he couldn't get that from another team and could use that to help 'fight for the cause'.

I think he knew he wasn’t going to see all that money, because the Niners were going to cut him, but he though that opting out would give him a better chance of landing somewhere.
He chose... poorly.
He chose... poorly.

Right. I wonder though if he kind of knew he wouldn't make that kind of money and then can seem like a martyr.... 'the white owners don't want to employ me because im black and fight for our rights'.
Posted on 8/20/19 at 2:47 pm to dupergreenie
It wouldn’t make him a martyr, it would make him a dumbass.
Getting cut then not catching on “looks” better than opting out of $20m and not catching on with regards to claims of persecution.

No i agree it DOES make him look like a dumbass but he has/had been using the angle that teams 'didn't want to sign him' (even though i think Baltimore offered him).
Remember you don't need to have or say all the facts to rile up people.
If no team is willing to give him (im just using random numbers) 25 million a year then 'technically' nobody wants to sign him. He can use that to say owners don't want an outspoken black (well half) man on their team.

If your ability to be treated seriously depends upon your history of suffering then being raised wealthy becomes a problem.
I don't disagree with Wiley but I wish there was a better way to point out Kaepernick and his girlfriends hypocrisy without having to use identity politics against the people using identity politics.

He never spoke on this when Black Lives Matter movement was at its height. Think about it. 2013, 2014 Ferguson. When Jay Z is bailing prisoners out and protesters out and supporting Trayvon Martin's family, where was Kaepernick? You know where he was? Taking his shirt off bruh. I knew Kaepernick back then and he was never talking about this. But then he meets Nessa in 2015 and then all of a sudden in 2016 he gets benched. Flip flop.
Everything that occurred in the few years prior to the 2016 football season fueled Kaepernick’s kneeling. What is Wiley talking about?
