That's pretty much where I'm at.

ETA - I still believe he could have been a prolific QB had he been sculpted in a more traditional setting. He seems to lack some basic fundamentals, and either doesn't get taught or can't seem to fix them.

Getting masters from good school.
Bless him. Not a d1 qb, after all.

:sigh: I agree. I think he could have been. He was accurate at Parkway and threw all the time. He just looks afraid to mess up now. No confidence on the field. His first couple of games at LSU you could see the confidence. He's not the same guy.

By all accounts he's a good kid & works his arse off. He simply doesn't have any feel. I don't know if it's pressure or is scared to mess up, but he isn't a good game QB at all.

And another INT

Just threw a pick. Stared down a massively blanketed WR on a slant route. DB tipped ball up. Easy INT for S or LB

Ya, Fedora was trying to talk him up this offseason and you could just tell he was frustrated with him. Now he's splitting duties with this noodle armed lefty. They don't have much confidence in him.

He obviously has some processing issues & doesn't handle pressure well.

I like their freshman QB. Don't know what he's going to be as a passer yet but he gets first downs. Harris always pissed me off when he would throw 30 yards down the field on 3rd and 4 when he had an open running lane.

Let's all be real here. Harris just isn't good. There is alot more to being a QB than having a strong arm.

Is what it is.

He threw TONS of jump balls to athletically superior receivers. He also ran a lot. Les Miles fell in love with the athleticism and arm strength. When you watch his high school tape, you don't see much in the way of anticipation

Brandon Harris could rip it in Division II though.

He'll still get daily questions about "did LSU use you the right way".

Maybe he's inaccurate and makes bad decisions so we did running plays.

I fully admit the ACC/Cal the opponent isn't the SEC, but he did not pass the eye test today. The offense looked a half a step better with Surratt under center.

I don't have a favorite, I just want the best QB under center, and to me, it wasn't Harris. Fedora said in his post game "we'll look at the film" but if he starts next week I'll be surprised.
