The NBA insisting that the home team loser of game one virtually always win game 2 in a blowout is the weirdest bit in professional sports. Like even after retired refs have come out and said they try to even it up they keep doing it

Don't tell that to some people here. Apparently they think because Denver lost 2 in a row at home to Minnesota, that it was going to happen again in this year's playoffs.

Why am I getting downvotes? Former refs literally admit they do this

Now Luka joining the rest of the team missing everything after he went out hurt for a bit.
Don't think that was an intentional leg kick searching for a foul...think Kyrie's momentum was going wrong way.

lol the refs have let the teams play tonight. Mav’s have gotten away with a lot. Wolves are winning because they are outplaying the Mavs tonight.

Rough half there for Dallas.
Luka 14
Kyrie 5
Lively 8
Gafford 6
Washington 6
Hardy 3
Green 2
Jones 2
Hardaway 0
Exum 0
Luka had a bad 2nd quarter after leaving game hurt, and Kyrie can't get anything to fall at just 2/8. Gafford and Lively are doing about like they always do. No complaints there. Those bottom 6 role players are 5/17 for 13 points. They have to be better or Dallas doesn't have a chance in this one. Through 6 quarters of play, those guys and Kyrie are a combined 4/24 from 3. They have to make some shots like they did in round 2 for Dallas to come back in this game or have a chance to win the series at all.
--------------------------------------------
Minnesota has it all going early again, 60 pts just like game 1...the lead is much larger than Wednesday though due to Dallas not hitting shots this time.
Edwards 13
Towns 9
Conley 12
Reid 12
Gobert 9
Anderson 5
McDaniels 0
Alexander Walker 0
Again, Edwards and Towns (6/22 combined shooting, 8 of their 21 points are FTs) are being bailed out by their supporting cast playing very good ball...just different guys. Was McDaniels and Anderson game 1, is Conley/Reid/Gobert tonight.
Luka 14
Kyrie 5
Lively 8
Gafford 6
Washington 6
Hardy 3
Green 2
Jones 2
Hardaway 0
Exum 0

Anyone watching the Altcast? I’m really enjoying it.
The music they’re playing into commercials is Chris Haynes’ SoundCloud they found
ETA: Holy shite this show is funny
Shaq is out on the court witht the camera introducing everyone to celebrity look-a likes. First two were Dolly Parton and Russell Westbrook’s little brother
And both were PERFECT

Still pissed Luka and the Mavs whooped OKC’s arse last round. Having to rely on Minnesota to make him feel better now.

Gobert just pushed Gafford completely out of bounds to extend that play
He's been called for 2 but I bet he's committed 7 or 8

fricking obvious foul on Conley on the Luka layup...no call per usual today,

Don’t count out the Mavs just yet. Luka is incredible. If Kyrie, PJ, or Jones can get going at all they can make this close.
Posted on 5/24/24 at 9:06 pm to TigerLifer18
That's asking for a lot so far
Posted on 5/24/24 at 9:09 pm to NWLATigerFan12
If Minnesota chokes this away they might as well just pack it in. They should be up 25 and it’s a 6 point game.
