Dallas Mavericks @ Minnesota Timberwolves Game 2 Thread 7:30 Dallas Leads 2-0 LUKA DAGGER

Fellow Mavericks, Timberwolves, and NBA fans join me tonight in the Game Thread.
After securing a massive victory on the road in Game 1 for Dallas, I’m fully expecting Minnesota to come out tonight looking to punch the Mavs in the mouth early. There is no denying this has been a great NBA playoffs, specifically in the West. Tremendous basketball has been played, with a lot of highly competitive games.
A loss tonight would be detrimental for Minnesota. Some things to consider is Dallas shot horribly from 3 point land Game 1 and still found a way to win. Minnesota needs to do a better job of taking out 1 of Luka and Kyrie. ANT has to play better defense if Minnesota wants a chance. The Minnesota bigs had no answer for Livley and Gafford Game 1. If Edwards can get going, and Gobert can be useful defensively Minnesota can secure a victory.

At this point in the playoffs it's about the stars showing up.
And I trust Luka and Kyrie way more than Ant and co

Minnesota wins this one, no doubt. Too good of a team to lose the first 2 at home. I hope it can stay close at least but I have a hard time even seeing that.

I hope the Mavericks win again

I know nothing….impossible to predict these games with any degree of accuracy…

My point all along. I talk no shite until after the game.

These announcers tonight are 100% Timberwolves.

Actually these are the ones that are very predictable. Higher seed with home advantage will often lose 1 at home but rarely has it ever happened 2 straight. For one they will play with more desperation but the biggest reason is the referees always favor the home team a lot more after a first loss.

Those Texas warmups are sick for Dallas

Dallas has to have more form the role players.
Minnesota has to have more from the stars.

No wolves player there to receive the inbound pass so they have to call timeout. Nice awkward start fellas

Didn't Denver lose the first two as the higher seeded home team last round?

Nobody wants the ball for MN. Literally.

Yeah kind of put that theory in the fricking garbage.

ANT and KAT didn't want it and Conley was inbounding.
Sure as hell don't wanna give it to Gobert 93 ft from the basket.

I just hope both teams remember what really matters and go out there and have fun tonight
