i think that's just bad advertising for the promo. Reading Rule #11 & 12 of the offer terms & conditions says nothing about win/lose, just about the team you place a bet on.
btw it doesn't have to be a spread bet.
I'd bet $25 on Iowa ML.
Edit: or maybe it does.. how do you interpret - "place a standard, straight, pregame, full game, point spread wager of at least $25"?
If it's this hard to understand a promo, just avoid it.

They live off people not reading the terms. You make a bet and your team loses and you say hey the email said “win or lose” and all they have to say is “it says in the terms win only” and you’re screwed.
