Snyder took a decade to get his team to national title contender status. To be fair, KSU was the undisputed worst program in any power conference at the time.

Urban should be kissing Tressel's arse.
Tressel won a Natty and was 9-1 vs Michigan.
All Urban did was build on what Tressel built.
If Day was born on 3rd base, then so was Urban.

You retards act like Urban rebuilt Ohio Stat

He inherited a .500 team from Luke fickell

Where do people get the idea that Urban built Oho State?

Because he did lol. Tressel’s “national title” is a farce that no one considers legit. You were constantly getting clapped in embarrassing fashion by every team South of the Mason Dixon every time you had to face one. Urban and his bag of douchery came in and did whatever he had to do to remotely make you competitive. You have been paying high dollar for years and now you pay off the refs and your conference officials for favoritism. It’s not even a secret anymore but y’all are the only one unaware of the farce or are living in complete denial of it.

Either way it’s clear you have the emotional and raw intelligence of a below average Somalian so I’m not degrade myself or time by engaging with your simpleton posts again.

Ryan Day looks like he belongs in a deer stand. Not coaching football

If Bama announced they fired DeBoer for Cignetti I'd donate money to the program immediately

Cignetti being 18 years older than Day and not needing a drop of Just for Men threw Ryan Day way off his silver spoon game.

I think Cignetti is definitely dying his hair as well. He's just not using a drastic, black dye.

The dude has been coaching Ohio State for over 7 years, everyone that keeps spouting he was born on third base is foolish.

If his was such a shite coach and livin off Meyer then they wouldn’t have a team they have now or accomplishments.

Indiana made some plays late and Ohio State kicker chocked- so we will see how it plays out.

And I fricking loved it!!!

I can’t disagree when it comes to this game. The offensive play calling was horrible and far too conservative. The only thing I can think of is that he might have been trying not to reveal too much of the playbook.

With that said, hats off to Indiana, they brough it!

He knows he has a QB that can’t fit it into tight windows and make good decisions under duress on long developing plays. They’d seen nothing close to a defensive front like they saw Saturday, and they were shell shocked, couldn’t do shite most of the night.

13-10. It seems like neither coach did shite.

Would you say the same thing if the score had been 45-42?

Is this where you beat your chest about his greatness against a hilariously soft schedule after watching him do absolutely nothing for 3.5 quarters the first time he played an elite defense?

He had a QBR of 60 while his opponent had a QBR of 90. His interception was thrown into double coverage with a third defender bracketing. It was a woeful decision and you think they have confidence that’s a guy that makes great decisions with high risk high reward plays?

He’s a game manager. He might wind up great, but he demonstrated he isn’t ready to cut it loose against these kinds of opponents. 17.5% of his passing yards came on a Hail Mary that barely made it 50 yards with a 10 yard running head start. Dude needs to hit the weights.

He was the highest rated passer against the blitz coming into Saturday. But yeah, clearly he has trouble playing against duress.

I think you have this half right. I think Sayin can fit the ball into tight windows but the long developing pass plays were not doing him any favors Saturday. I think when they switched to the quicker game then they had 2 great drives that ended in zero points.

OSU played like hot dog poo and had a chance to tie it with a chip shot field goal. I said OSU would need to play a C- game and another team play an A level game. Indiana played an A- game and OSU played like a C- or D+ game. Can tell the distractions impacted the gameplan

He’s got an army of NFL talent around and in front of him and they still run a game manager style offense designed for him to get the ball out quickly and limit progressions.

He played terribly against Indiana and Texas and beat up on a bunch of trash all season long. His big North Star game against a mediocre Michigan team that had zero wins against ranked teams and got beat by multiple scores against all 3 ranked opponents they faced. I’ll give him Washington too, good team, and he played as well against them as Mendoza played against tOSUs #1 defense.

Congrats on playing behind an NFL OL that can thwart the blitz from 2-7 big ten teams. He’s got a ways to go before he’s a guy picking apart good defenses with a wide open playbook.

They 100% ran a game manager offense vs. Texas because they didn’t want to throw him to the wolves in his first start.

They are not running any sort of consolidated playbook now to protect Sayin. It’s pretty obvious Day has all the confidence in the world in him.

He was born on 3rd base and now has giant check book from boosters paying to keep him there.

That isn't necessarily a bad thing, its just the current landscape of college football. When you can write a big check and fill in positions of need and add quality proven starters and depth depth and retain your most important talent that's a big giant head start on most other teams.

Same could be said with A&M, Longhorns, Tx Tech, Oregon, etc.
