That's a problem in what is essentially a football market. Even if you're the No. 1 guy whose main job is to facilitate, you have to learn. I've always been less than impressed with Palmer.

Very pumped to hear Hunt. Was just telling a buddy Sunday that they needed to solidify that spot before football season and I hoped you would be in contention for it. Look forward to hearing y'all on air. And we can cry together over the state of the Cubs.

I'm honored to be given the opportunity by Guaranty, and I'm really excited to work with Jeremy. I covered him in my writing days. We've certainly got two different perspectives on college football.
As is the case with anything, it's going to take a little bit of time for us to hit stride, but with football here and what should be really exciting basketball and baseball teams on the horizon, it's a great time to dive in.

Interesting choice. I would have thought the few weeks of terrible radio when he’d join Mario for an hour and sleepwalk through the show would be enough to not have him on again, but I guess this falls in line with the way 104.5 is going these days.
At least now we can finally get the perspective of a former LSU/NFL running back on Baton Rouge radio.

I assume the pairing is because jeremy can chime in during football discussions and add to what hunt says. Help cover for hunts weakness i guess. Problem is he rarely provides any useful analysis and provides nothing to any other sport.
