A more natural pairing seems like Hester and Hill, let them do a deep dive hardcore football show for the people that freak out if you go 30 minutes without bringing up LSU football. Also allows Hester to do what he enjoys most, talk about his playing days.

I'll probably just continue to not pay attention to the mid day show I guess.
8 hours a day in this market is overkill unless you're bringing something different to the table. I don't really see Hunt and Hill doing that, just more generic local talk.

I live in Hoover, AL and used to listen to the mid-day show a lot on their app (which also needs A LOT of work!). Mario and Musso, while I'm sure are good guys, have been dreadful to listen to...so much so that I just completely tuned it out. Kudos to them for trying, but that experiment can't end soon enough. Give Hunt his own shown with the occasional rotating co-host.
BTW...on the app...that thing is so flaky, and dear god I am sick of hearing the absolutely insanely annoying Bayou Ford ad every 10 seconds!!!
