Aaron Judge would not know what to do once the ball hits the deck and swings both ways

Cricket Highlights do crack me up. It’s every 4, 6, and Out, and then maybe the last play.

Sri Lanka vs. Nepal got rained out. Bummer because the Nepal crowd in their last game was really good.

Watching Australia vs. Namibia now, Aussies only need 73 runs to win. Should be quick, they got 202 in their last game.

would be a real shame if USA v Ireland at the same Florida venue got rained out on Friday and Pakistan got eliminated...

a run chase completed before the powerplay ended. That was some minnow bashing

2 wickets in the first over. India playing for keeps.

The rain forecast looks steady in Lauderhill through Friday.

16 runs on 11 Overs for Taylor.

Thank God he's finally out.

all you need is a rain out in either USA or Pakistan last game and YSA is in

Or just win, since Ireland has done so well so far.

Wicket on ball #2 is a great counter to how this started.

Can anyone recommend where to start in order to understand the scoring in cricket?

Rules of cricket

quote:

A run occurs when a batsmen hits the ball with their bat and the two batsmen at the wicket mange to successfully run to the other end. The batsmen can run as many times as they like before being given out. If the ball crosses the boundary rope after it has bounced at least once from leaving the bat then 4 runs are given. If the ball goes over the boundary rope without bouncing then 6 runs are awarded to the batting team.

Runs can also be scored when the bowler bowls a wide delivery (a ball that is too far away from the stumps), a no ball (where the bowler oversteps the front line on the wicket), a bye (where no one touches the ball but the two batsmen run anyway) and a leg bye (where the ball hits the batsmen’s leg or body and a run is taken).

This NY pitch is completely different to any other. It’s a very dangerous one and US has legit chance. The ball will keep low and bounce unevenly. It’s hard to score on this one. In cricket, the pitch and weather conditions will cause difference

Just checked the score…we are likely to still lose, but can you imagine how amazing it must feel for Netravalkar, to get Kohli out on the second ball and Sharma in the second over?

India is still below their required run rate, great recovery by the US after their disastrous start

If US bowl wicket to wicket, it’s impossible for India to score. Cricket is different to baseball
