Smith has a chance to break Chase record TD catches in one or two less games this year. He’s been ridiculous and living up to his hype coming out. Good for him.

its definitely an asterisk since half of CFB were basically out before the season started.

I don't think the winner will hold it in high regard.

Not saying it should have an asterisk but if any year it's just top player on top team and lazy reputation voting, it's this year.

The front runner is a receiver with over 1500 yards receiving and 17 TDs in only 11 games, all SEC games.

But go on.

The thing about Bama is you never have to play Bama, so is the SEC schedule really that tough? Especially this year with all the opt outs. As compared to Ohio St playing 10 B1G games and OU for example?

How do?

At the end of the day Bama has beaten 3 ranked teams. The SEC is overall the toughest conference but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some teams that are garbage. Throw in all the opt outs and it’s not like playing a regular schedule it’s just not

It will if Smith doesnt win, imho. He deserves it more than the others.

Lawrence win- career award, lame.

I think 55-17 took what few balls they had remaining.

If Smith doesn't win it I'll have even less respect for the award than I have in the past.

They'll give it to Sarah Fuller.
