You don't read about too many baseball players going through nasty divorces. At least it doesn't make the headline like NBA/NFL so good for him

Texas certainly knows how to breed some smokeshows. That's for damn sure.

Why yes, 23 year old attractive elite athlete that is due for an insanely big contract soon and just won the World Series, I think I will marry you

Alex Rodriguez went through a pretty nasty divorce as did Kris Benson.

Let's also remember the Tawny Kitaen (80's sex symbol) being arrested for abusing Chuck Finley

He got a $4.8 mil signing bonus, and makes $500k a year on salary alone. Plus sponsorship deals. It seems unlikely that he would have major financial concerns at this time.

Dude was a top prospect that always seemed to come up in discussions on Braves forums about acquiring pitching at the trade deadlines. He got paid a lot of money based on his potential to be a mid 4 ERA pitcher.

Well, his parents started him at a 6 on the trashy scale by spelling his name with a K

endorsements + $500k/yr. He's not hurting.

I suspect he'll extend with the Astros at some point. No way he plays out his current contract until free agency. I think I read somewhere that he couldn't hit the open market until after the 2021 season.
