People's Republic of Boulder give zero shits about the football team.

SJWs everywhere up there

Took my daughter on a campus tour a few months back and you can tell right off the bat. The tour guides and student council insisted they use their pronouns in their introductions. I was just a guest but couldn’t help but roll my eyes.

A friend of mine is a coach at a big public school in Denver. There’s a kid who now a SR that has been a playmaker and best player on the team since a freshman. Great grades and character. CU hasn’t even sent a representative to take a look at him.

What are you even trying to say? Did you just throw out two older names associated with Colorado football and shoehorn them into some shitty meme that you’ve heard 1000 times? I don’t get it

This exactly.
Best they'd be doing is giving reach arounds to the Kansas hayseeds anyway.

Colorado hasn’t been thaaaat bad over the last 7 years or so. It must have been the coach before the guy they have now that was doing pretty good

Not counting the shortened covid season, they’ve had 1 winning season in the last 16 years. That’s pretty damn bad.

Nothing will change until the admin decide they want to truly invest to build a winner and do what it takes to get there. No reason Colorado can’t be right in the hunt in their conference every year given full resources. Unlike Nebraska, they’re also in a really nice area to attract recruits. Easy access to the front range and the (albeit expensive) town of Boulder are really nice, plus a short drive from Denver.

Agreed. The bones are there for a good program. Beautiful location, awesome stadium, growing population. The right coach and support would bring the program back.

The Big 12 should take Colorado back.

The Big12 doesn't want them back. most of the schools think CO did them dirty when CO bolted to the PAC.

CU deserves everything they are getting. If you know anything about that program and university you would know they are frauds. Stupid investment into KD but typical for CU.

It's a nice setting but who's in the growing population matters. Boulder is a terrible recruiting location because there isn't a bunch of talent in state and Phoenix, DFW, Vegas, LA are all 800 miles or more away.
