College Football Playoff - Who gets in?

6 teams control their own destiny. 2 of the 4 playoff spots are already taken.
Clemson - Miami. The winner of the ACC Championship game is in.
Auburn - Georgia. Whoever wins this game, is in.
So that's 2 spots.
If Oklahoma beats TCU, they are in.
If Wisconsin beats Ohio State, they are in.
The committee's job is really simple if OU and Wisconsin win - seeding.
If either Wisconsin or OU lose, then Alabama probably gets in.... unfortunately.
Would the committee select undefeated Central Florida if BOTH OU and Wisconsin lose?
Could Ohio State make it over Alabama if they beat Wisconsin?
Can TCU make the playoff with a win over OU?
It always works itself out in the end, and NO, there is no need to expand the field from 4 to 8 teams.... we already have "play-if" games.

I think we pretty much know how it'll go.
The SEC Champion is in and the ACC Champion is in. If Oklahoma wins they're in. If Wisconsin wins they're in. If ONLY Oklahoma loses, Bama is in. If ONLY Wisconsin loses, Bama OR Ohio State is in. If BOTH Oklahoma and Wisconsin lose, Bama AND Ohio State are in.
We can all sit around and argue for years about who should have made it, but the above is likely how it plays out. There's pretty much no way, barring something unforeseen, that TCU, USC, Penn State, or UCF will get in. If Clemson loses the ACC title game in some crazy, controversial fashion then they MIGHT get the 4 seed if Wisconsin or Oklahoma loses. But it'd have to be something where everyone in the country knows a huge mistake was made in officiating that cost Clemson at the end.

Just sticky this post so people will stop making 14 threads a day on the subject.

You don't like the board cluttered with threads whose subject line reads, "College Football Playoff"?

If Ohio State wins next week, the committee will find a way to let them in.
It will somehow be winner of Ohio State/Wisconsin, winner of Clemson/Miami, winner of Auburn/Georgia, and Oklahoma if they beat TCU or Alabama if TCU wins.

If TCU looks good in a win over OU, then I think they would deserve a playoff spot over OSU.

Deserve? Yes
Get it? Unfortunately no.

There will be a debate between 11-2 OU, 11-2 TCU and 11-2 Ohio state. The conference championship won't erase the convincing win on the road.

Which is why there is gonna be backlash no matter who the committee picks (unless OU and Wisconsin win). Hopefully this doesn't push us to 8 games. Last thing we need is a 3 or 4 loss team getting lucky and being champion. I like that for the most part the champs of CFB are still either unbeaten or only have 1 loss.

It's crazy we still have to have this conversation in this day and age.
This folks is how the CFB Title is being decided...the 4 teams below.
Can you guess who will win the title? If so, come on down!
