Their last game they were outplayed by Cincy at times.

Cincinnati was very good.
anyhow Cincinnati had much to play for (carry over to now: hopes for playoff slot) and georgia was deflated.

I disagree with this . If King is fully healthy they could keep it close. Saban hates QB’s like King.

Everyone struggles with dual-threat QBs when it's executed properly, everyone. But King is slightly more one-dimensional at the position and it's gonna be hard to believe that King can keep the BAMA defense honest with his arm. You don't rush this kid out of the pocket you surround him and spy the guy when he takes off. Gonna be hard for King to make a living doing that for 4 quarters. If BAMA gets there rushing just 4 King is gonna be in big trouble.

The Achilles' Heel for Miami's defense is Lbers. They are woeful at the position and we are going to test their manhood running the ball all night. Bryce is going to see a lot of receivers running open in that second half.

I agree with that but were they actually a team you thought was competitive with the playoff teams? UGA really only outplayed Cincy in the fourth quarter. If that's the UGA we get this season they aren't beating Clemson.

I guess I just wasn't overly impressed with UGAs physicality in that game.

Why would they be deflated? They were out of the playoff race in early November when UF beat them. They had rung off 3 really good performances since then and people were saying they and OU were the scariest teams in the country not in the playoff

Because in the SEC it doesn't matter more if it's for "bowl games no one cares about".

It's a shame where college football is headed, or really, where it is. For many major programs, its playoff or bust. The regular season, traditional rivalries, and bowl games have been greatly devalued.

I would also note the loser of the SEC championship game is 16-13 in bowl games and 6-7 since 2008.

If they move to 12 teams this will get even worse. I think one solution is to move rivalry games to other weekends, but having the biggest game at the end is always awesome

I know, right? Seems like something happens like that maybe only once every four, five years or so

Under seems good in OU/Tulane. OU’s defense is pretty damn solid this year and Tulane isn’t exactly going to air it out.

Seems like 42-17 or something like that.

For what it's worth, I've sold myself on UTEP covering at NMST for the Silver Axe.
