You just miss the whole point. Did I say he was a BAD coach. He is a good coach. But look at his entire career and how many McDonald All Americans that he get each and every year. OK was he a great coach in his first years at Duke...NOT. How many years did it take him to win a National Championship. I know you are a Coach K lover but I am just speaking my mind. I have a lot of people who agree with me.

Its just a great gesture. Regardless if you like the guy or not.
Just like what the LSU fans did for Stoney Brook. Staying to cheer them on and having them do a victory lap even though they just knocked the home team out.
Things like that stick with players forever and speak volumes about a program.

That's wrong. They made the NCAA Final and an Elite 8 right before he got there and they were really good in the 60's.

dude is a living legend and to analyze this based on what other coaches would do in this situation is just stupid. no shite billy donovan isn't gonna go in another teams locker room to congratulate them he doesnt have the achievement list coach K does
